Below are just a few of the seminars, lectures and workshops available for your school. Programs can be tailored for any event or learning objective. Along with seminars, I also provide food demonstrations, cooking classes, and school health challenges.
Healthy You
This seminar covers the basics of nutrition and activity for children and adolescents. Presentations are tailored to grade level and are designed to help schools meet learning objectives. Materials covered include appropriate portions, reading food labels, weight management, healthy snacking, and physical activity.
Heading Off to College
This very popular seminar is tailored to juniors and seniors in high school, who will soon be making their own nutritional decisions. They will learn tips on how make better decisions in a college environment, and how to avoid the unhealthy traps that ambush many college freshman.
Managing Stress
This seminar teaches strategies for dealing with stress and includes strategies to condition your body so it can deal with life's daily stresses. Learn how to boost the body's immune system, increase energy level, and reduce stress related symptoms such as fatigue, headache, irritability, and IBS.
Diet and Activity
Learn how to fuel your body for activity. From beginners to athletes, every individual should understand how diet affects energy levels and performance.
